Thank you for visiting University of Kentucky’s Panhellenic Council website!

My name is Catherine Chin, and I serve as the Panhellenic Council President. As President, I work closely with members of each sorority along with the 2 other Greek Councils (Interfraternity Council and National Pan-Hellenic Council), the University, and the campus community at large. It is an honor to serve this community and represent such outstanding women.

I hope that this website will be a resource for current members, future members, parents, staff, alumnae, or anyone who may be interested in our Panhellenic. Our Panhellenic Council consists of a unique group of women on campus, who not only strive for excellence in every aspect, but form an amazing community exceeding 1,900 members. On our campus there are 15 organizations within the Panhellenic Council that enable the enrichment of the lives of collegiate women on a daily basis.

Giving back to the community is a part of the foundation of the Greek system on campus. Last year alone, Panhellenic members raised and donated $90,500 while also completing over 23,000 hours of service. Also, Panhellenic women strive for success and excellence in education, as the Panhellenic Council G.P.A. continues to be higher than the All-Student G.P.A. and the All-Women's G.P.A. Last semester, Panhellenic Council’s G.P.A. was 3.19, and the All-Women G.P.A. was 3.10.

It is privilege of mine to be able to recognize that sisterhood, service, leadership, and scholarship are all critical values that our sorority women share in their individual sororities and together as a Panhellenic Community.
